Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 June 2026 · Effective: 12 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Doveryet Technologies ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit doveryettechnologies.org (the "Website") and when you use our mobile application Doveryet (the "App"). By using the Website or the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Website contact form: your name, email address, the service you're interested in, and your message.
  • App account: if you sign in, your email address (or the basic profile from Google sign-in). You may also use the App as a guest without an account.
  • Content you create in the App: your activities/tasks, habits and streaks, journal entries and mood selections, and an optional profile photo.

Information stored only on your device

  • Any custom alarm sound you upload stays on your device and is used only to play your alarms. We do not upload it to our servers.
  • App preferences such as theme and reminder settings.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic technical data such as device type, app version, and general usage and diagnostic information, which helps us keep the App stable and improve it. Where required, we ask for your consent before collecting this.

2. How we use information

  • To provide the App's core features — saving your tasks, habits and journal, and sending your activity alarms.
  • To respond to enquiries you send through the Website contact form.
  • To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Website and App.
  • To manage subscriptions and provide customer support.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Your journal entries are private to your account and are never used for advertising or sold to anyone.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers who help us run the Website and App (for example hosting and, if enabled, analytics), under agreements that limit how they may use your data.
  • Google Play processes subscription payments and verifies your subscription status. We do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Legal reasons — if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect rights and safety.

4. Storage, security & retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted, except where we must retain limited records by law.

5. Your rights & choices

  • Access & export: you can export your data from the App via Settings → Privacy & Data → Export my data.
  • Deletion: you can permanently delete your account and content via Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete my data, or by emailing us.
  • Notifications & permissions: you control alarm/notification and photo permissions in your device settings.
  • Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to correct or restrict the use of your data, or to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.

6. Subscriptions & payments

The App offers an optional premium subscription. Purchases and renewals are handled by Google Play Billing under Google's terms; payment is charged to your Google Play account and you can manage or cancel your subscription in the Google Play Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but not your payment card information.

7. Children's privacy

The Website and App are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Third-party services

Our Website and App rely on a small number of third-party services, each with its own privacy policy, including Google Fonts and a content-delivery network for fonts and styling, Google Play for app distribution and billing, and our hosting provider. Links to external sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App or on the Website. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
